  • Are large group parties available?

    Al Porto Ristorante has many options for venues within the restaurant for groups of all sizes and food & beverage options for all occasions. Large parties may use the entire main floor, or private rooms are available for smaller gatherings.
    Contact us at events@alporto.ca* with your information and we will design a memorable Italian dining event within your budget. Weddings, seminars, corporate events and celebrations are available.

  • What type of party rooms do you have and how many people can each of them have?

    We have Dining Room, Wine Room, Terrace, and Loft.

    • Dining Room

      Capacity:
      70 - 180
      Features:
      An extremely flexible space with a warm Tuscan atmosphere. Seats up to 100, but can open into Terrace and Wine Room for up to 180.

    • Wine Room

      Capacity:
      Up to 35
      Features:
      One wall has a beautiful Italian mural, and two others are lined with wine. Large tables in this cozy space make it ideal for meetings.

    • Terrace

      Capacity:
      30 - 48
      Features:
      Large windows offer ample light during the day, and are shaded with warm wooden blinds at night.

    • Loft*

      Capacity:
      40 - 70
      Features:
      Featuring a view of the North Shore mountains & Canada Place, the Loft also offers a private entrance & bar.
      *This space is only used for private functions.

  • Is there parking available?

    Street parking is available throughout Gastown or numerous parking lots are available in the area. Gastown is accessible via public transit or as a pleasant walk along the waterfront area.

  • Does the restaurant accommodate dietary restrictions?

    Al Porto Ristorante serves vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free.

  • Is Al Porto Ristorante accessible?

    Yes, there is an elevator at ground level that will take guests to the entrance of the restaurant.

  • How much do I need to pay for a wine that I bring in to have?

    Wine Opening Fee is $35 per bottle.

  • How much does it cost if I ask you to cut a cake which I bring in?

    Cake Cutting Fee is $30.

  • I wanna get a birthday cake for a friend of mine, how much do I have to spend minimum?

    In order to get a free dessert plate for your birthday or anniversary, each of you needs to spend minimum $80.
